Sarah Hawley Creson (1903-1983), the daughter of Harry Hawley and Sarah Davis Hawley, attended St. Mary's School for Girls in Peekskill, NY, and the Scudder School in New York City, NY. As a result of a brief marriage to Robert Paul Creson, she had two children, Sarah Creson Larroca and Robert Paul Creson, Jr. Her papers in this collection consist mainly of correspondence between her daughter, who is in school, her granddaughter, Sally Larroca, who is at Camp Mystic, and an old friend, Margaret Holmes.
Sarah Creson Larroca grew up in Galveston and attended Radford School for Girls in El Paso, Texas, and Monticello College in Godfrey, Illinois. Her marriage to Edward A. Larroca, Jr. produced four children, the eldest being Sarah "Sally" Larroca. her papers in this collection consist mainly of correspondence received from her mother when Mrs. Creson was visiting Margaret Holmes in Los Angeles, California.
Mary Hawley Willis (1871 - ?) is the daughter of Joseph Henry Hawley and Sarah Brown Hawley. She was married to Short A. Willis and lived for a time in Litchfield, Connecticut and Washington, D. C. Her papers in this collection consist mainly of correspondence between her father and mother, who were separated, and her sister-in-law, Sarah Davis Hawley. There is also correspondence with Laura Ballinger Randall regarding the Daughters of the American Revolution elections of national regents.
